We wanted to let you know that effective immediately, you are able to resume requesting Interpreter services through the Health Care Authority contract you currently have with CTS LanguageLink.
- Any job previously cancelled due to state budget negotiations (July 1st – 3rd) will have to be requested again in your online portal.
- These jobs will not be automatically re-submitted by CTS

It’s that time of year again! We will be hosting our outreaches this year in Lynnwood and Kennewick, WA. Please find your corresponding outreach below.
Please be aware THE KENNEWICK SOCIAL OUTREACH has been moved to 1:30 PM TO 2:30 PM.
Lynnwood’s medical and social outreach will be held Thursday June 11, 2015 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Hampton Inn & Suites. The address is 19324 Alderwood Mall Pkwy Lynnwood, WA 98036
Kennewick’s medical and social outreach will be held Thursday June 18th, 2015 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the SpringHill Suites. The address is 7048 W Grandridge Blvd, Kennewick, WA 99336.
Have you experienced the portal auto-populating the “Your Information” section with someone else’s information? In an effort to bring a more user friendly portal and emphasize HIPAA compliance we are hoping that this update will encourage providers to create “Contacts” within the account. The Administrator, or account contact, will need to add individual users by clicking on “Administration” and then “Contacts.” By clicking “New” and filling out the form, each person will be able to have their own username and password. This list of contacts allows for easy management as employees switch roles, departments, or jobs.

We have added two updates to your online portal to create a more user friendly experience.
- • A billing notes section added to the check in/out process
- • New ways to search for past and future appointments
Provider Billing Notes
The provider may add a billing note to the job in order to clarify the events surrounding the appointment. After clicking on “Check In” you will see a new link for adding notes directly related to the check in/out times.
Enhanced Job Search
Providers may search for jobs by Job Number, Patient Name and Interpreter Name.

In order to clarify the criteria set by the state for requesting specific interpreters CTS will be updating the ‘Justification’ drop down menu to the following options:
- • Active cancer treatment
- • Continuing counseling sessions
- • Applied behavior analysis therapy sessions (regardless of age)
- • Cancer/dialysis treatments as requested by the provider
- • Effectiveness of treatment plan (any treatment or medical procedure where a change in interpreter will impact the effectiveness and efficacy of the appointment)
The provider will be expected to maintain supporting documentation at their location. This should include notes in the patient’s file from the specialist or person providing treatment. Providers may still request a specific gender when it is appropriate for the effectiveness of treatment. Your input and continued support is appreciated and welcomed! After feedback from many providers, you are now able to view all requested jobs from the contract start date; completed or not. You will be able to see information for every job that you requested an Interpreter.
To do this:
- Access the Onsite Jobs List
- Change the Start Date to the desired date
- Click “Refresh”
- A list of all requested jobs will appear
You can filter jobs by changing the “Status” field:
- Cannot Fill
This gives you the opportunity to narrow your results as desired. As the year progresses, we look forward to making more user-friendly adjustments to the portal.
