Hello HCA Interpreters,
Recently CTS has been made aware of a new training opportunity available for you coming up on Saturday, June 17th, 2017. This training will be held at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital in Yakima, WA. This is a double workshop that is hands-on bonanza for both novice and experienced interpreters who are serious about their professional development. The morning session will focus on glossary-building and the afternoon session is designed for interpreters who feel isolated and on their own, perhaps because of living in a small town or through a lack of contact with other interpreters.
Should this be something that interests you, please see the document below for additional information on this event and instructions on how to register.
Will this Training apply to my Continue Education Credits?
Seven continuing education credits are being requested from the ATA, the Washington State DSHS, the Washington State AOC and CCHI. ATA credits are accepted by IMIA/NBCMI. Certificates of Attendance will be awarded to all who arrive on time and stay for the entire workshop.
If you have any additional questions in regards to this class, please contact Naomi Uchida at firstname.lastname@example.org.
